Proximity and safe location is a big reason.

If she knows a theater or if she likes the experience

She would like the one’s that do dinner and a movie

If there is a movie worth watching on IMAX/ 3D she would do that

Based on the trailer she would decide wether it was worth seeing in IMAX/ 3D.

She looks for the IMAX or Dolby tags, doesn’t weigh in the most heavily but it does weigh in.
